Kia’s sports coupe concept will be fully revealed later today during the South Korean brand’s press conference, but an image of the GT4 Stinger concept has already leaked.
The brand already announced that its 2+2 Detroit Show car is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine sending 315 hp through a six-speed manual transmission to the rear wheels. It rides on a custom chassis with an independent double wishbone suspension and uses Brembo floating discs with four-piston calipers.
There are 20-inch center-locking wheels mounted outside those brakes with carbon fiber inserts as well.
Notable design elements include the vertical LED headlights, flared front fenders, the signature “tiger nose” grille and a fastback.
The cabin features tight-hugging sport seats, few buttons and plenty of metal inserts. There’s also a flat-bottom steering wheel and see-through A-pillars.
Kia’s press conference is scheduled for later this afternoon when the brand will likely unveil more details.
